1956 Rosé | Exclusive Côtes De Provence Rosé by A.M.A Selections

1956 Rosé is inspired by the French Riviera’s iconic history. In 1956 the release of And God Created Woman, starring Brigitte Bardot, changed the course of the region and catapulted the sleepy fisherman’s village of St. Tropez to the international stage. That same year Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier III of Monaco which, at the time, was dubbed “the wedding of the century.” 1956 Rosé celebrates the beginning of an era while honoring a wine that is deeply rooted in the culture. Our bright pale pink Côtes de Provence blend of syrah and grenache offers lovely aromatics of white peach, elegant citrus, succulent herbs and the slightest hint of pineapple. This exceptionally crafted wine is refreshingly smooth in taste with a concentrated, lingering finish lending it to pair beautifully with seafood and light Mediterranean dishes. There are only 500 bottles of the 2018 vintage, each personally stamped and numbered.

An homage to the region's iconic history

A.M.A Selections launched their private wine label in collaboration with the award winning Mirabeau En Provence. 1956 Rosé was created exclusively for A.M.A Selections guests to complement their travel experience on the French Riviera. “We are very excited to officially introduce our 1956 Rosé, which was designed to further enhance the connection with our guests,” said Mariek Anselme, cofounder of A.M.A Selections. “When we decided on launching a private wine label, we knew it needed to be a rosé because nothing says holidaying in the South of France more than a chilled glass of pale pink wine.” Dedicated to further tailoring this experience, A.M.A Selections has partnered with one of the top private chefs in the region to design an exclusive food and wine pairing menu. This menu, only available to the company’s guests, highlights fresh, local produce while pairing beautifully with 1956 Rosé.

“We are always looking for dynamic ways to speak to new customers,” said Andrea Saliu, cofounder of A.M.A Selections. “I believe that the collaboration with Mirabeau offers a new level of innovation to our hospitality company and allows our guests to bring a taste of Provence back home with them.” The company expects to triple production for the 2019 vintage, which will be available to A.M.A Selections guests and partners, as well as select members on the wait list.
